Employment
Specialist guidance, advocacy and protection for everyday matters and contentious issues.
Experienced advice you can rely on
Managing employment law issues can be a time-consuming and costly distraction from your everyday business. We provide reassurance and guidance when you need it most, and act for both employers and employees. You can turn to us for experienced advice on anything from day-to-day employment queries, including contentious and non-contentious matters, through to advocacy in employment tribunals.
Sensitive, practical problem solving
We’re proud to have an excellent reputation for taking care of conflict work sensitively and professionally, often during difficult periods such as business closures. We work hard to understand your needs and goals and are able to work within your timeframe. You’ll get clear advice, that’s both commercially focused and empathetic, responsive service and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Manage workplace issues effectively
Many workplace issues arise not from intent, but from a lack of confidence or clarity in handling situations as they unfold. Whether you’re dealing with change, managing performance or navigating sensitive employee situations, we help your team act early and avoid escalation. Our training services are designed to reduce risk, support better decision-making and protect your business.
Specialist fixed-fee support
We know it’s important you have access to quick, clear, up-to-date advice, so our specialist support service is there whenever you need it. Called HELP, it’s our fixed-cost package for human resources and employment law protection. For an annual fee, you get expert advice tailored to you, a review of your current practices and, if needed, insurance against potential employment tribunal claims.
Training delivered by experienced employment solicitors
Our training courses are delivered by experienced employment solicitors and are tailored to meet your specific objectives. We also provide in-house training for senior staff on subjects such as disciplinaries, grievances and performance procedures.
Each session is commercially focused, highly interactive and supported by real-life scenarios. Training can be delivered at our offices, at your premises or at another suitable venue of your choice.
