We are celebrating after a double win at the Yorkshire Business Hero Awards.
We were the winners of the Diversity, Inclusion & Equality award for the third time in four years, with Marketing Director Ann-Marie Keighley and her team being named Marketing & Digital Disruptor of the Year award at the event, which is held as part of the FB Fashion Ball to honour the region’s exceptional businesses and individuals.
The Diversity, Inclusion & Equality Award recognises organisations with cultural initiatives, strategies, campaigns and resources implemented to drive diversity, inclusion and equality throughout the business.
Alongside providing exceptional service for clients, we have developed a supportive, collaborative culture to ensure each member of staff contributes and can be themselves. A diversity, inclusivity and wellbeing committee oversees a range of initiatives, while the charity committee coordinates support for local communities. This year we were shortlisted against Channel 4 and Leeds Bradford International Airport.
“Diversity, inclusion and equality are at the core of everything we do as a business so to be, once again, recognised for it is real testament to the team’s hard work and dedication. We were up against some very high profile businesses so it is especially pleasing to receive the award.” Manjit Virdee, partner
The Marketing & Digital Disruptor Award recognises strategic marketing growth solutions and consistent results that deliver and drive innovation. “It was a complete shock to win, as the shortlist was incredible. We are a small but very powerful marketing team and are thrilled to have won – it’s fantastic to receive the recognition of all that we are achieving in positioning Schofield Sweeney as so much more than a law firm.” Ann-Marie Keighley
