A new luxury spa, Royal Onsen, has opened its doors in Bradford city centre, at Valley Road.

The state-of-art facility will offer residents from Bradford and beyond an opportunity to relax in Turkish baths, mud chambers, sauna, steam rooms, and hydrotherapy pool including a variety of wellbeing treatments. The premises have been rejuvenated from the empty ground floor of the building that houses the Travelodge Hotel.

The name ‘Onsen’ translates to hot spring and is synonymous with relaxation and self-care in Japanese culture. The vision behind the spa was brought to reality by the founders, Harris Iqbal and Maryam Iqbal, with Maryam being a successful entrepreneur within the beauty and wellness industry.

Present at the grand opening was Naz Shah, the MP representing Bradford.
