We have advised new shareholders, John and Lyn Kearney, on their acquisition of W K West Ltd and its subsidiary company Midland Box Company Ltd, a group which trades as Westpack.

Founded in 1884, Westpack specialises in commercial packaging in corrugated cases and timber. The group operates from two manufacturing sites in Sheffield and Nottingham, spanning a 100,000 sq ft, and serves a diverse customer base across the UK.

John and Lyn Kearney acquired the business from the previous shareholders Andrew Fox and Simon Turner, who have successfully run Westpack for over 30 years.

John Kearney has spent over 25 years in the packaging sector, most recently working as a director for one of the UK’s largest packaging suppliers. Lyn Kearney brings packaging experience along with expertise in a diverse range of industries.
