Annie has extensive experience advising schools and employers of all sizes and offering solutions to complex issues.

She provides strategic HR and employment law advice to clients on all aspects of staff management from recruitment through to termination. This advice includes redundancy and restructuring programmes, disciplinary and grievance issues, absence and performance management, contractual changes, discrimination, TUPE and restrictive covenants.

Annie also represents clients involved in Employment Tribunal proceedings and regularly undertakes her own advocacy.

Annie has experience working within a range of sectors, including education and employment support to the corporate team on business transaction matters.

Work highlights include:

• Successfully defending an unfair dismissal and race discrimination claim on behalf of an Academy Trust and obtaining a significant costs award in their favour.
• Advising a client about a site closure and their collective consultation obligations, including the election of representatives.

In a voluntary capacity, Annie is an employment law advisor for the College of Law pro bono advice line and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
