Kidzone Limited recently completed the purchase. The centre based in Chestnut Court, offers a wide range of play areas. Carl and Claire Barron, directors of Kidzone Limited, are excited to be leading the centre’s next development stage, its plans for growth and becoming part of the local community.
Carl said “Claire and I have been searching for premises to set up a play centre or an existing operation to buy for ten years. We have maintained contact with HSBC for the last 6 years since our initial conversation with them about financing options.
Since the whole process was new to us, the legal and finance aspects were daunting, however, the help and guidance from Schofield Sweeney and HSBC meant that this was much easier than we expected and we were able to concentrate on getting to grips with the practicalities of running a business”
Manjit Virdee who led the Schofield Sweeney team said “we are very impressed by Claire and Carl’s devotion to the project and the ambitious climb and projected growth. The team at Schofield Sweeney wish them only the very best”.
The successful acquisition was funded with assistance from HSBC.
Jo Dickinson, HSBC’s Area Director for West & South Yorkshire, said: “We are delighted to provide financial support to ensure the centre can continue to play an active part in the community and look forward to our future working relationship”
The deal was completed by David Hayman, Commercial Manager at HSBC.
