It was the second year we entered our team, “Don’t Judge Us!” into the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival.

The team did us proud finishing 7th (again!) with a PB of 1:12:920 at the event which was held at Roberts Park on Sunday 2nd July.

Our team of 17 rowed 200m of the River Aire (several times!) against 25 other teams, and successfully did not fall in.

Well done to all the teams that took part and of congratulations to the winners. The organisers did a great job creating an exciting day out, with the festival site filled with spectators despite some rain on the day! There was lots for all the family – fairground rides and stalls, street food outlets, bars, entertainment on stage, retail stalls and of course, the racing!
