Chambers recognition for Private Wealth & Succession team

Our Private Wealth & Succession team has maintained its ranking for a fifth year in the 2026 Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide.

In addition to the department retaining its Band 2 ranking for Private Wealth Law, which covers work such as charitable planning, wealth transfer, business succession planning and the creation and administration of trusts and estates, the team has also attained a series of individual achievements,

Three of our highly respected lawyers are now ranked individually in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide – underlining their ‘best in field’ status.

Partner Simon Glazebrook, who heads up our team in the Leeds office, has once again achieved Band 2, Private Wealth, for the sixth consecutive year.  Simon has extensive experience advising entrepreneurs, families and senior business executives in all aspects of tax and succession planning, including family investment companies and a number of trusts and charities.

Partner and qualified tax lawyer John Feaster, who specialises in property taxes, working with high net-worth clients on a range of private wealth matters, and advises on the structuring of estates through family investment companies and trusts, has achieved Band 3, Private Wealth, for the fifth consecutive year.

Partner Kanika Sohpal has also retained her Band 3 ranking for the second year. Kanika is highly regarded for her technical knowledge and strategic approach to inheritance tax planning. She deals with all aspects of succession planning and wealth management, with a particular focus on acting for business owners, high net worth individuals and those with cross-border issues.

Simon Glazebrook said: “Achieving Chamber rankings is testament, not only to the individuals recognised, but to the expertise and commitment of the entire Private Wealth team and the wider firm.

“To have multiple Partners consistently ranked individually in the High Net Worth Guide over a period of more than five years is particularly pleasing and a huge achievement.”
