Our Private Wealth & Succession team has consolidated its rankings in the 2025 Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide.
The team racked up a series of individual achievements in addition to maintaining its Band 2 ranking for Private Wealth Law.
Four of our highly respected lawyers have now joined the Chambers rankings, which are a clear marker of their ‘best in the field’ status and their ability to deal sensitively with the complex needs of high net worth clients.
Partner Simon Glazebrook has achieved Band 2, Private Wealth, for the fifth consecutive year.
Recognised as a Top 10 Private Wealth Law Maestro, Simon has extensive experience advising entrepreneurs, families and senior business executives in all aspects of tax and succession planning, including family investment companies and a number of trusts and charities.
Partner and qualified tax lawyer John Feaster has achieved Band 3, Private Wealth, for the fourth consecutive year.
John specialises in property taxes and working with high net-worth clients on a range of private wealth matters, and advises on the structuring of estates through family investment companies and trusts. An expert in Stamp Duty Land Tax, his leading practitioner textbook on the subject is now in its 9th edition.
Partner and contentious probate expert Nazia Nawaz maintained her ranking of Band 2, Private Wealth Disputes, for the second year in a row.
Nazia, who is a full member of ACTAPS (the Association of Contentious Trusts And Probate Specialists) and an affiliate Member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), advises and represents clients involved in the full spectrum of disputes relating to inheritance, probate and wills.
“The Chamber Rankings only include ‘the best of the best’ so to build on our profile yet again is a fantastic reflection of the expertise and commitment of the entire Private Wealth team.
“We also know that our success in the rankings is only made possible by the amazing collaboration and support we receive from colleagues throughout the firm. As always with Schofield Sweeney, it’s a company-wide achievement”, Simon Glazebrook.
