A group of dedicated and enthusiastic members of the firm had an amazing time volunteering at Nell Bank Outdoor Education Centre.

Welcoming over 20,000 children a year, Nell Bank based in Ilkley is an outdoor learning centre dedicated to helping every child connect with nature by running exciting, safe and educational outdoor activity days that inspire learning and inquisitiveness.

The team from Schofield Sweeney were the main volunteers on 13 April 2022 at Nell Bank’s HAF day programme which provides free holiday activities and food for families from disadvantaged areas of Bradford.

Elizabeth Foster did a great job promoting the water park and later the fairy trail, with  Ian Anderson  in charge of the very popular adventure park slide. Leigh Freeman andAnnie Gray were amazing supervising the water park and remained serene and smiling even when hit in the face with a water brush. While  Fiona Crothers  and Annie Hui-Gillen  were bossing it in the canteen, forming orderly queues and making sure all the children had hot chocolate and coffee for the parents, then in the same orderly fashion, sending them back to their colleagues high on sugar and caffeine!
