Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience of private client work or will have worked in a similar practice area such as family law.
It is essential that you have first class organisational skills and that you have a confident but reassuring approach.
You must have excellent communication skills, not just in communicating effectively and easily with people at many different levels, but also possess empathy and understanding in order to liaise with clients in what can sometimes be very difficult circumstances.
You will need to possess excellent IT skills in both Microsoft Office and case management systems (ideally P4W) and be fully adept at document management including use of styles, automatic and outline numbering, track changes etc.
From time-to-time, you might also need to provide support to other secretaries or lawyers within the Private Wealth & Succession group based in our other offices, and more widely in other practice areas, so being flexible and adaptable will be an important quality.
You must have a professional, accurate and methodical approach to work and enjoy a busy workload. You will need to demonstrate initiative, be proactive, and, most importantly, you should enjoy working as part of a team.
