Leading care provider Provisio Care Group has acquired Moor Park House, a specialist centre dedicated to treating people with complex spinal and brain injuries, with support from our multi-disciplinary team.
The acquisition of the Preston facility marks a significant milestone in the growth of the business, which now operates three care homes in the North West, as well as a temporary staffing agency, Provisio Care Force, further strengthening its position as a leading specialist care provider in the region. More than 200 staff at Moor Park House will become part of the Provisio team.
Corporate partner Steven Millward led our acquisition team, which included Ben Stephens and Victoria Boothby of the corporate team, Basharat Ali and Rosie Bamforth from real estate, Natalie Hami Dindar from employment and John Feaster from private wealth & succession.
Moor Park House is a modern, purpose-built home which provides residential, spinal, neurological and complex nursing care. Its Watling Care Centre also offers complex nursing care for adults with acquired brain injuries.
Owais Mohammad, CEO at Provisio, said “This acquisition serves as a landmark in our growth journey and cements our position as a leader in the region for specialist care. We’re really excited about our future and look forward to welcoming more than 200 colleagues and integrating the business into our group.
“I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all of our professional partners who have played an instrumental role in making this happen, including Schofield Sweeney, Gallagher insurance, Triodos Bank and Xeinadin.”
Steven Millward said: “We’re delighted to have supported Provisio Care Group on this acquisition. The company is now an established leader in this specialist care field and bringing Moor Park House into the portfolio will see them go from strength to strength – it was a pleasure to work with Owais and the team.”
