Proud to support Bradford UK City of Culture 2025 bid

8th July 2021

We are delighted to be joining the Bradford Business community in supporting the Bradford UK City of Culture 2025 bid.

“I’m delighted that our charities team has been able to support Bradford’s 2025 City of Culture Bid by offering legal support, advice and guidance in relation to their application for charitable status. The bid is a fantastic opportunity for Bradford and it was a privilege to work with the bid directors, alongside some fantastic bid partners.” Fiona Crothers, solicitor, education & charities.

“Bradford is a vibrant, creative and inclusive community, which the UK City of Culture 2025 will showcase. Culture in the city ranges from large scale festivals to independent arts experiences and more. We are delighted to support the bid and look forward to the opportunities it will bring.” Ann-Marie Keighley, marketing manager.

A host of businesses across all sectors have backed Bradford’s bid to be named UK City of Culture 2025.

Richard Shaw, bid director, said: “Private sector support is vital for any successful bid campaign, and to have such a breadth of businesses on board from the outset who understand the game-changing impact the City of Culture title could have on the district in terms of boosting the economy and driving regeneration, is fantastic.

“We look forward to drawing on the wide-ranging knowledge and expertise of our partners to help shape our vision for the bid going forwards.”
