In our latest corporate acquisition deal, we have advised a major player in the construction sector.
West Yorkshire-based Grove Building Solutions work with architecture firms and clients to provide a full turnkey services on the likes of refurbishments and new build projects.
Diskin Capital Partners, an investment group established by ex Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls player Matt Diskin, acquired the company. The move forms part of the next stage of a build strategy.
Lucy Holroyd, associate in our corporate team who advised on the deal, said: “We are thrilled to advise the majority shareholders on the sale of Grove Building Solutions to Matthew Diskin’s group. I wish the company every success in future”.
Matt Diskin, added: “We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Grove Building Solutions. The current economic climate has created uncertainty for many businesses; however, Grove have mitigated the risks and continue to build upon the strong foundations and relationship achieved through over 30 years of trading.
“The addition of Grove to the group allows us to attain a strong foothold in an industry we are very familiar with. The baton has now been handed to us to take the business forward and realise its full potential, something we are confident we can achieve.”
“From our initial discussions, it was clear that Grove fit well into the group’s strategic plan and provides a further platform to maximise service offerings to the key sectors in which it operates.”
