BRI Wealth Management (BRI) has acquired Worcestershire-based Singular Financial Planning (Singular), adding £30m in assets under management (AUM).
Director of Singular and Chartered financial planner, Stuart Jefferies, said the business had taken its time when looking for a suitable firm to look after its clients in the future.
“BRI is one of the very few we met and felt happy with,” he said. “I have every confidence that BRI will deliver a high-quality service to my clients and that they will be looked after very well.”
BRI chief executive Dan Boardman-Weston said: “I have had the pleasure of getting to know Stuart Jefferies over the last year and have great admiration for his skill as a financial planner and the service that he provides to his clients. We are committed to maintaining the high standard of service and professionalism that Stuart’s clients have come to expect.”
He added, “Very grateful for the service and advice of James Farrell and Daniel Bisby at Schofield Sweeney [on the acquisition]”.
James Farrell stated, “We are delighted to have acted for BRI in respect of this strategic acquisition; BRI continues to go from strength to strength in identifying synergies and broadening its service offering to clients.”
