BM Packaging Ltd, the Holmfirth-based manufacturer and supplier of corrugated packaging, has been acquired by Nova Paper & Packaging B.V, part of the global Eren Holding.
The family-owned business, which was established in 1990 and provides packaging solutions for a variety of businesses and industries as well as offering bespoke corrugated cases and die-cut packaging, has two sites in Huddersfield.
Managing Director Chris Latham, who will remain in position to run BM Packaging, was advised on the sale by our corporate, environmental, real estate, and tax teams.
Dutch company Nova Packaging & Paper B.V is a leading entity in the paper and packaging sector, specialising in providing comprehensive financial solutions tailored to the industry. Parent company Eren Holding is one of Turkey’s largest industrial businesses, with diverse global operations in energy, paper & packaging, cement, textiles, retail and port operations.
“The business has been in the family for 35 years but this was too good an opportunity to miss in terms of growing the company and securing its future as part of a significant and dynamic group. We are delighted to be part of Nova Paper & Packaging, and the wider group, and look forward to the next chapter for BM Packaging.” Chris Latham, Managing Director
“It was a privilege to be involved in this deal and to support Chris in the sale, which sees a Yorkshire family-run business take a step towards the future as part of a global conglomerate. We wish them every success.” Jack Venable, Solicitor
