What you’ll be doing
As part of our Accounts team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate, compliant, and efficient financial processes across the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling financial transactions across office and client accounts
- Processing payments via cheque, BACS, CHAPS and credit card
- Posting invoices and supporting firm‑wide billing
- Managing bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting fee earners with matter housekeeping
- Providing wider support to the Accounts team, including credit control and client interest tasks
This role falls within our hybrid working arrangements, which combine working from home with office-based work.
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally bring experience from a legal environment, along with at least two years in an accounts or finance role. We’re looking for someone confident with numbers, detail‑driven, and comfortable using Microsoft Office — with legal software experience as a bonus.
Clear communication, a positive and collaborative approach, and the ability to stay organised under pressure are all vital.
