We are delighted to be partenering with Bradford Council to host a three-day showcase of the city and the district for its partners and guests, in the nearby Mumtaz restaurant.
The Showcase will be an opportunity for industry key players to find out more information about what’s happening across the district and talk to those leading the work. Highlighted schemes include:
- One City Park (£35m, 65,000sq ft city centre office space) completed – PwC anchor tenants
- Darley Street Market (£23m new state-of-the-art indoor market with outdoor market square)
- High Point, a former commercial building converted into luxury apartments
- Making Hall Ings traffic-free to connect the Interchange to the multi-award-winning City Park (as part of wider large-scale improvements to the city centre to make it a more pleasant place to walk, cycle and spend time)
- Keighley regeneration (£19m Levelling Up Funding as well as funding of £33.6M through the Keighley Towns Fund, to deliver key projects such as the Providence Park industrial hub)
- Shipley regeneration (Funding of £25M through the Shipley Towns Fund, including key projects such as the rejuvenation of the market square)
- Bradford Rail and infrastructure investment – including a new platform at Forster Square, the new Southern Gateway through station and regeneration around the area, the electrification of the Leeds-Bradford route alongside the imminent consultation on the route for the Bradford Line – linking Leeds and Bradford via the Mass Transit tram system.
- Bradford City Village – in collaboration with Muse/English Cities Fund this will transform the centre of Bradford with 1,000 high-quality, environmentally-friendly new city-centre homes, alongside safer roads, landscaped public spaces, revitalised independent shopping and high-grade office space.
