Rajveer acts for organisations and schools, offering expertise and advice on a whole range of employment law matters; offering the best solutions to complex issues.
She consults with clients on all aspects of day-to-day employee management and issues arising from recruitment through to termination, including discipline, poor performance and the correct procedures to be followed. Rajveer advises a range of clients, including employers, senior executives, schools, academies and GP practices.
Her work also includes the preparation of contracts of employment and staff handbooks, advice on settlement agreements and representing clients involved in Employment Tribunal proceedings.
Work highlights include:
- Representing a considerable care home business in defending an employment tribunal claim.
- Successfully arguing for a strikeout of claims including constructive dismissal at a Preliminary Hearing on the basis that the Claimant had brought claims against the wrong employer.
- Providing employment support to the Corporate team on an acquisition by a healthcare software developer of a London technology business.
In a voluntary capacity, Rajveer is a mentor at the University of Leeds, offering guidance and support to their law students.
