The National Minimum Wage increases from today (Friday 1st April 2022).
The National Minimum Wage (NMW) will increase as follows:

Other statutory rate increases to be aware of which apply from April 2022 are:
- The maximum limit on a week’s pay for calculating statutory redundancy pay increases from £544 to £571. This is applicable from 6 April 2022.
- Statutory sick pay increases from £96.35 to £99.35. This is applicable from 6 April 2022.
- The maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal increases from £89,493 to £93,878 (or one year’s pay, if lower). This is applicable from 6 April 2022.
- Statutory maternity pay, statutory paternity pay, statutory adoption pay, statutory adoption pay, statutory shared parental pay and statutory parental bereavement pay increase from £151.97 to £156.66. This is applicable from 3 April 2022.
