Neil’s HR career spans over 20 years, mainly within professional services, but with some time also spent in HR roles in the Higher Education and the not-for-profit sectors.
Having joined Schofield Sweeney in 2020, he has been responsible for all aspects of HR within the firm.
Since joining us, he has focused on designing HR policies and practices which support and reflect our core values. This has included establishing a new review process for our lawyers, together with creating a new career progression framework setting out promotion pathways for our colleagues.
Neil is responsible for managing our recruitment processes, including trainees and our lawyers of the future and for providing an effective welfare, coaching and support service to both partners and colleagues
He is also a member of our Wellbeing and ESG groups.
