He has a broad, multi-specialist corporate practice that covers general mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, public equity transactions (including initial public offerings, rights issues, placings and secondary placings and public takeovers), joint ventures and other kinds of relationship agreements and all kinds of corporate reconstructions and amalgamations.

David acts for clients across financial services, real estate, retail and consumer goods, food & drink and healthcare, dental and pharmaceuticals. He regularly acts on cross-border, multi-jurisdictional transactions.

He is an expert in advising companies on matters of corporate governance covering everything from compliance with the Model Code and the insider trading and market abuse regime to organisational and reporting structures, the Bribery Act, directors duties, reputational risk and the management of general legal and regulatory risk.

His experience also includes negotiating and executing a wide range of commercial agreements including material outsourcing agreements, and supply, distribution, franchise, IT development, licensing and publishing agreements.
