A practical guide for employers
Bullying and harassment remain significant workplace issues despite increasing awareness of the problem. Typical behaviours range from unwelcome remarks and persistent unwarranted criticism to unwanted physical contact, shouting, threatening behaviour and violence. Recipients of such behaviour are more likely to experience anxiety, stress and a loss of confidence and underperforming at work, often taking time off sick and leaving their employment.
As an employer, it can be difficult to manage such behaviour, but it is crucial that you do so. Understanding the legal position and how employers and employees can address the problem is crucial to not only resolving the issue but also discharging your duty of care to your employees and protecting the business from any legal action arising.
Our event will help you to understand:
• Bullying vs banter – where is the line?
• Bullying, harassment and the law
• What you should do as an employer
This event is perfect for decision-makers – from business owners to HR leads and those with line management responsibilities
There will be a Q&A included at the end of the webinar, where we will run through any questions you might have.
