A group of volunteers from the firm braved the rain to help out at  Nell Bank Charitable Trust in Ilkley last week. Our group of volunteers assisted the Nell Bank team in looking after youngsters from deprived areas in the local Leeds and Bradford communities while they run, jump and explore the various activity areas on site, from reeling in their excitement at the waterpark area, discovering newts and other friendlies in the pond, to building dens.

Annie Hui-Gillen, Director, who organised the volunteer day commented: “It’s amazing to see the children having such a great time with their parents at something that we probably all take for granted – walking and exploring the outdoors. Unfortunately, many of these children and their families don’t have the chance to experience the outdoors. That is why we love volunteering at Nell Bank and supporting the amazing work that they are doing for our local community. Thank you to my colleagues who have taken the time to volunteer for this great charity”.  

Nell Bank is an outdoor learning charity dedicated to helping every child connect with nature by running exciting, safe and educational outdoor activity days that inspire learning and inquisitiveness.
