Kate is an experienced corporate lawyer, advising on a wide range of business and corporate matters for clients.

Her specialisms include business acquisitions and disposals, management buyouts and reorganisations, which include share buybacks, share for share exchanges, share re-designations and the like.

She also prepares constitutional documents such as articles of association, shareholder agreements and cross option agreements.

Kate acts for several lenders, both high street and secondary, on all types of general and bespoke security and loan requirements.

Work highlights include:

  • Advising Santander Bank as lender on a multi-million-pound reorganisation and demerger of Kate’s favourite fresh food retailer, Keelham Farm Shop.
  • Advising Shawbrook Bank as lender on a complex multi-million lend for the acquisition of two marinas which included harbour licences, moorings, retail and commercial units.
