AQA is the UK’s biggest exam board, setting and marking approximately half the GCSEs and A-levels taken in England each year. The sale will give AlphaPlus the ability to share with their clients AQA’s substantial assessment, research and technological capabilities, whilst acting as a standalone subsidiary of AQA.
AQA’s goal of advancing education by helping teachers and students realise their potential is strongly aligned with AlphaPlus’ values, and the move enters AQA into the assessment consultancy market. Both welcome this exciting opportunity to develop their work in the UK and internationally.
