Timothy is a solicitor in Schofield Sweeney’s dispute resolution team, based in Leeds. He advises businesses and individuals on a broad range of commercial and civil disputes, helping clients resolve complex issues in a pragmatic and commercially focused way.
His experience includes contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, property-related disputes, professional negligence matters, and claims involving directors’ duties and financial misconduct. Timothy also has a background in matters funded by legal expenses and commercial insurance policies, giving him a firm understanding of claims handling, litigation strategy and risk management.
Timothy supports clients throughout the life of a dispute, from early case assessment and alternative dispute resolution through to formal litigation. He regularly drafts court documents, witness evidence and strategic advice, and works closely with clients to achieve practical and cost-effective outcomes.
Timothy is an active member of the Leeds Junior Lawyers Division and has a keen interest in legal technology and innovation, regularly attending industry events and seminars across the Yorkshire legal community.
