This is an open invitation to leaders of estates within Multi Academy Trusts to join us in Saltaire for the northern conference of the Trust Network for Estates.
The event will include presentations on school estates related topics, networking opportunities, and group discussions led by subject matter experts. This will all take place at the stunning location of Salts Mill, set in the historic UNESCO World Heritage site of Saltaire. This Grade II Listed historic mill building was built in 1853 by Sir Titus Salt along with the village to house his workers. The whole area is of architectural and historic interest. It is also the famous home to one of the largest collections of David Hockney’s art.
The theme for the day will be ‘Harnessing Technology to Manage the School Estate’ with a particular focus on showcasing and demistifying AI and BIM, as well as other technologies such as compliance monitoring tools. In addition to these exciting technology focussed sessions we will also be covering other school estates essentials such as Martyn’s Law preparedness, heat decarbonisation tips, and our ever popular ‘legal surgery’ sessions.
