Shazia specialises in commercial litigation, property litigation including landlord and tenant disputes and contentious probate and trust law.
Shazia is well versed in court procedure, having undertaken court advocacy early in her career. With a strong record of resolving landlord and tenant (residential and commercial) disputes, contractual disputes, property and professional negligence disputes, and dealing with contested probate claims such as inheritance disputes and problems with executors/administrators.
She looks to resolve disputes at the earliest and most commercially advantageous time for her clients. Shazia has dealt with a variety of litigation matters looking to achieve the best possible result and economic outcome for her clients. Shazia has also conducted round table settlement meetings and attended mediations on behalf of her clients which have led to successful outcomes.
In a voluntary capacity, Shazia is a mentor for law students at Huddersfield University
