Catherine advises on a wide range of commercial property matters with expertise in property finance and corporate support work, with a focus on coordinating large-scale property due diligence transactions.
She acts for corporate entities, individuals, trusts, and housing associations, as well as acting for major landlords of retail, office and industrial properties, as well as for tenants.
She has advised on the creation of numerous academies and academy to academy transfers, and has worked for trust schools, foundation schools, and studio schools.
Work highlights include:
- Acting for a UK LLP and the Guernsey pension scheme of one of the LLP’s Members in relation to a residential development site in Nottinghamshire, including dealing with a s106 agreement and provision of bridging finance, total value of over £5m.
- Advising a Yorkshire based, family-run property investment company about the sale of a retail property in central York in an off-market sale for a sale price of just over £6m.
- Working for a client in the motor trade concerning the acquisition of freehold land in Stoke-on-Trent for a total purchase price of £3m.
