Switalskis Solicitors was advised by Schofield Sweeney on its merger with Honley Law Practice. The newly-merged firm will trade as Switalskis Solicitors incorporating Honley Law Practice.
Earlier this month Schofield Sweeney advised Switalskis on the acquisition of Steel & Co.

Established in 2002 by the firm’s Principal Solicitor Julian Taylor, Honley Law Practice the firm is known in the area for its high quality Residential Conveyancing, Wills and Probate, Family Law, Employment Law and Notary services.

The Honley Law Practice team, comprising of three lawyers and three legal support staff, is dedicated to providing personal, practical legal advice to local residents. The six staff members will become part of Switalskis growing team, which includes 19 Directors and more than 200 staff, able to provide advice in 18 different areas of legal expertise.
Already widely regarded as a leading provider of legal services in Yorkshire, Switalskis has a number of industry awards for its work, and has been crowned Yorkshire Law Firm of the Year on three occasions.
This merger follows Switalskis’ recent acquisitions in North Yorkshire, the firm joined with Steel & Co in Boston Spa and Knaresborough just weeks ago, and is part of an ongoing strategy for growth. With the addition of these three branches, Switalskis now has one of the largest geographical coverages of any law firm in the region. The total number of branches operated by the firm now stands at 12.
