Shazia is well versed in Court procedure, having undertaken Court advocacy early in her career. With a strong record of resolving landlord and tenant (residential and commercial) disputes, contractual disputes, goods and consumer disputes, building disputes, property and professional negligence disputes, and dealing with contested probate claims such as inheritance disputes and problems with executors/administrators.
Shazia looks to resolve disputes at the earliest and most commercially advantageous time for her clients. Shazia has dealt with a variety of litigation matters looking to achieve the best possible result and economic outcome for her clients. Shazia has also conducted round table settlement meetings and attended mediations on behalf of her clients which have lead to successful outcomes.
Shazia also undertakes pro bono work in the community and has been assisting Law students at the University of Huddersfield mentoring scheme for the last three years.
