Last week Sarah Hodkinson attended the first Bradford 100 Club event where key Bradford businesses and local charities came together at Bradford City Football Club’s Northern Commercial Stadium.
Launched in November 2017, the #GiveBradford campaign enables local communities across the district to get the support they need to create positive change and improve the lives of local people by distributing a number of different grants programmes.
The Bradford 100 Club is a special patronage scheme that brings together individuals and businesses who want to ‘give something back’ and address the key challenges facing the district.
With 25 supporters already signed up, the inaugural Bradford 100 Club event offered the chance for members to meet, network and talk to some of the amazing community groups that have been supported.
Speaking at the event, Matthew Roberts of Leeds Community Foundation commented:
“With many more irons in the fire there’s a lot more we can do and we look forward to growing this network to ensure we can commit to bringing more funds into play to help make this district a place of opportunity for all.”
