Schofield Sweeney appoints insolvency specialist

Specialist commercial law firm, Schofield Sweeney, has expanded its Leeds-based team with the appointment of Judith Clark, who will head up the firm’s Insolvency department together with Helen O’Hara.

Judith most recently worked as Head of Insolvency at Levi Solicitors LLP. Prior to this she worked for the Department of Trade & Industry in Manchester investigating the failure and conduct of the directors of The Accident Group, which resulted in the issue of disqualification proceedings.

Judith’s work at Schofield Sweeney will see her specialising in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious corporate and personal insolvency and her clients will include insolvency practitioners, lenders, company directors and shareholders.

Her new role will see her dealing with administrations, liquidations, receiverships, reconstructions, security reviews, bankruptcies and individual voluntary arrangements. She will also deal with company director disqualifications.
