Alex is a Partner in the Employment team and has advised on the whole range of contentious and non-contentious matter including defending tribunal claims, advising on large scale redundancy and TUPE issues and providing strategic advice. Alex has a wealth of public sector experience and has acted for a wide range of clients, including PLC’s and public bodies, as well as major names in the manufacturing, business process, outsourcing and retail sectors including a major group of construction companies for whom I successfully defended a number of tribunal claims, including claims concerning the employment status of contractors. Alex’s instructions come from both in-house counsel and HR teams
